our 22 month old grandson is having dry nappies after his 3 hour daytime sleep and is more than willing to go on his potty for a pee ..he is advanced with speech and understanding too,more like a child of 30 months, so we are well on the way to daytime dryness .All toddlers are different but most ,thankfully,get out of nappies before school age ! I would say ..be guided by common your own sense and how much bladder control your toddler has not by their age
