BMI is a calculation that uses a child’s height and weight to estimate how much body fat he or she has. Use this handy BMI calculator and see for yourself.
A good way to weigh your toddler is to hold your toddler and get on the scale. Write down that number.
Then put your baby down and get on the scale alone. Subtract that number from the combined weight you wrote down and you’ll end up with your child’s weight.
